Club Insurance policy
Introduction
This page gives a very brief summary of the 2009 Club Insurance which is arranged by Walker Midgley Insurance Brokers for SWAMBC. While every effort has been made to ensure an acccurate summary, members wishing to know the definitive legal conditions of the insurance must consult the full insurance document which is available from the Scale Captain, David McNair-Taylor. Note that Walker Midgley offer a further range of model insurance cover for SRCMBC members.
If SRCMBC members need to prove details of cover to use the facilities of another club, David McNair-Taylor can supply a certificate; however a copy of the following, with a club membership card, should normally be sufficient. In general, members do not need a separate certificate, just your membership card.
The main change since last year is the inclusion of cover for shows and exhibitions.

Period of Insurance: 01/02/09 to 01/02/10

Public/Products Liability: Limit of Indemnity: £2,000,000
Notes:
Limit of Indemnity for Public Liability applies to any one event
Limit of indemnity for Products Liability applies to any one event and in any one period of insurance
The cover does not extend to any involvement with passenger carrying miniature railways.
Personal Liability for Club/Society Officers: Limit of Indemnity: £1,000,000
Employers Liability: Limit of Indemnity £10,000,00
