A morning which started very calm but then the wind picked up allowing new member, Nigel James' impressive wishbone schooner "Kathleen" and Colin Vear's 12m prototype "Lucie" to perform. Also new to the web site are Roger Yeatman's model of the oil-rig support ship "Aziz", Dennis Maxted's "Fairwind" and Colin Vear's "Naughty Lass".

Warm weather and calm winds tempted many members to the pond and most of the featured models are new to this web site. A special mention for "Bantuzi" on her maiden voyage, and two members new to the site: Ernest Weller's "P.S.Glasgow", and Edward Coombs "Titanic" (apparently being operated on Sunday by a "Captain Smith"). There is also a new movie of "HMS Penzance" showing her manoeuvrability and a movie of Ray Hellicar's "fastest Lifeboat in Fowey". The quality of some of the photos suffered due to the morning mist... I wish the warships were orange like the lifeboats!
The wind was blowing every which way, being at the whim of nearby showers. Only a few boats took to the water, but here is a new movie of David's new Trent Lifeboat, "RNLB Maurice and Joyce Hardy". The story commences in David's own garden!

On this sunny Thursday morning Steve French demonstrated some of his models while the "yachty types" waited for wind. However soon it was blowing and spitting rain so we only get a brief glimpse of Archie Howies Battleship. The photos of Peter Oram's "Setley Coast Guard" were from a previous Sunday.

A sunny Thursday morning with a light fitful wind. John Cooper had his new yacht "True Blue" while Archie Howie's impressive model of the cargo ship "Matra" appeared to be sailing under ballast. There is also a new movie of Allan Read's "Mascotte" Cutter.
