Club Exhibitions: Highcliffe and Lymington

The first Highcliffe Model Boat Show was held by the Scale Section of the SRCMYC in the Community Centre in 1988. In 1992 it moved to the Methodist Hall in the main shopping street where it continues to be held annually in support of the RNLI and organised in association with the local branch of the RNLI supporters (newspaper report in 1996). The Club has also supported local Lifeboat Days and other Charity Exhibitions such as "Model World" which was held annually from 1992 to 2007 by the Southampton area Rotary Clubs. In a new venture in 2010 the Club held a Charity Exhibition in the Masonic Hall, Lymington. With a large indoor exhibition venue on a crowded shopping street, this proved a success and it is hoped to continue the event annually.

Lymington Charity Exhibitions

	Lymington Show 2012	The 2012 show at the Masonic Hall on 1st September raised over £1000 in charity donations (including sponsorship by Wightlink and HSBC), with the profits from the sales on the Charity Stalls to be added on top of that total.
	Lymington Show 2011 (View album of all photos)	The Club Charity Exhibition in aid of the RNLI and "Help for Heroes" provided a fantastic show at the Lymington Masonic Hall on Saturday, September 3rd: 112 Model Boats on display, videos and model demonstrations!
	Lymington Show 2010 (View album of all photos)	The club exhibition on the 4th September 2010 at the Masonic Hall, Lymington, was in support of the Lymington New Forest Hospital, the RNLI, and Help for Heroes. It proved a very popular event.
